Voters Organized To Educate

I am humbled to receive once again the sole endorsement of Voters Organized To Educate!

VOTE and I have a long history of collaboration that has produced real results for formerly incarcerated people in the state of Louisiana. Together, we ended 150 years of Jim Crow by banning non-unanimous juries. Together, we passed Raise the Age legislation that kept kids out of adult prisons. Together, we restored voting rights to the formerly incarcerated so everyone has a voice in our elections. VOTE’s advocacy is truly life-changing and I am truly grateful for their partnership and advocacy.
